HydroSure Essential In-Line Filter -13mm Barbed

Install before a run of micro emitters, drip line or soaker hose for a time and cost-saving solution that essentially pays for itself in the long run. The filter ensures micro emitters can continue to work at the optimum level preventing failures and the need to replace expensive components.

The filter traps tiny dirt and sediment particles too small to see yet can easily block the tiny outlets of emitters. Even the smallest gathering of particles can lead to dry spots and noticeable undernourishment of plants.

Suitable for low-pressure systems operating up to 3 Bar. Features an 80 mesh screen filter and internal mechanisms that ensure maximum water flow efficiency even at low pressures.

Simply push the irrigation pipe onto the barbed inlet/outlet of the filter and secure it in place using a ratchet clamp (not included). Be sure to take into account the direction of water flow indicated by the arrow on the outer sleeve as emitters should be installed upstream.

The external sleeve is manufactured from strong polypropylene and acetal plastic and the internal screen is engineered from long-lasting HDPE. Ensure the filter is maintained and cleaned regularly by unscrewing the nut to access the mesh screen and wash the sediment out.

Engineered with built-in washers and a tapered barbed edge for maximum protection against water leaking from the unit and around pipe connections. This ensures optimum pressure can be maintained within the system and water wastage around connection sites are eliminated.
