WRAS Approved HydroSure Pipe Liner 32mm - Pack of 3

To install a Pipe Liner/Pipe Insert, simply push the pipe liner into 32mm HDPE Pipe right up to the lip located at the top of the pipe liner. Pipe liners are required at each compression outlet. The compression fitting can then be installed as normal around the pipe and pipe insert.

HydroSure pipe liners work to maintain the structure of HDPE pipe once installed in a fitting. Higher density pipes are praised for their rigidity and ability to withstand high pressures however, they may buckle at compression connection points. This HydroSure pipe liner reinforces pipe strength and the circular shape of the pipe promising a tighter fit between the compression fitting and pipe. This circular shape mirrors the internal mechanisms of the fitting preventing the pipe from collapsing in on itself and offering superior protection against leaks.

Using a pipe insert at every compression outlet is not only a required practice but, also creates a smooth leading edge for the pipe to slide past the ‘O’-ring to the pipe stop without gouging or damaging it. Maintaining the structure and integrity of the ‘O’-ring is vital for upholding a leak-free connection over time. 

Each liner is manufactured from high-grade polypropylene polymers mechanically tested to conform to standards EN12201-2 for use in potable water systems and in systems that require components to be WRAS-approved. The non-metallic construction of materials is suitable for contact with drinking water having met the requirements of BS 6920-1 :2000.
