HydroSure - In Partnership with K-Rain

Built-in Check Valve

HydroSure RPS 75 Rotor Sprinklers arrive complete with check valve for ultimate protection against low head drainage and water collecting at the lowest point in an irrigation system. The drain check valve eliminates against water pooling around sprinkler sites for complete confidence in an irrigation system that can deliver uniform water distribution for plants that thrive.

Matched precipitation

Each HydroSure RPS75 sprinkler delivers the same precipitation rate from each sprinkler as water flow within the system is divided equally. This matched precipitation allows you to create an easily measured irrigation system with plenty of spray pattern overlap for exceptional performance against any dry spots ensuring well-irrigated plants.

Low Trajectory Nozzles

The standard and low angled nozzles included with the sprinklers allow you to create a flexible irrigation system tailored to your individual garden layout. Use low angled nozzles for areas with low hanging obstacles or tree branches for a spray pattern maintained low to the ground preventing evapotranspiration – especially useful in windy or exposed areas.

Time-Proven Patented Reversing Mechanism

HydroSure, in partnership with K Rain’s 35 years of experience, have created a long-lasting pop-up sprinkler system that assures continuous reverse and return without sticking or wear. Features a 4-inch pop-up riser that keeps the rotating nozzle clean and fully operational over time. For ever-changing watering requirements, the stainless steel adjustment radius screw will stand the test of time even after multiple adjustments and the rubber turret cover seals out dirt for increased product durability. The sprinkler also features easy clean mechanisms that can be extracted and cleaned during system maintenance.

Water-Saving Irrigation

A rotor sprinkler ideal for low flow applications. The ideal garden watering solution that helps to conserve the earth’s precious water resources by using less water and promoting water delivery directly to the plant’s roots. Low flow sprinklers are designed to be operated for longer periods of time to prevent surface runoff and water evaporation.

Easy Arc Setting

The RPS® features an easily readable indication nozzle arrow that points directly to where the spray pattern is set and the arc can be easily adjusted by turning the RPS key (not included) in the adjustment slot. The turret top features an easily readable indication nozzle arrow that points directly to where the spray pattern is set for easy adjustment to ensure the arc so it does not overthrow the desired watering pattern. The sprinkler arrives with a pre-set 180° arc setting preinstalled with a 3 nozzle and the universal style riser assembly is compatible with Hunter® PGP® Rotors.

Durable Pop-Up Sprinkler System

Manufactured with a five-year warranty and designed to provide year after year high performance and low maintenance. Engineered from corrosion and impact-resistant heavy-duty ABS plastic for superior structural strength and enhanced weatherability for an underground system that can be trusted to last. The stainless steel spring is built for positive retraction of the riser when irrigation is complete ensuring protection against surface damage.

Low-Pressure Pop-up Irrigation System

Functions at optimal pressures between 2.1 – 4.8 bar making it the ideal solution for larger gardens and at home irrigation, small commercial and professional pop-up irrigation systems.

Rotor Pop-up Sprinklers Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is Water Pooling Around the Sprinkler Site?

    • Underground systems require frequent flushing to prevent dirt from clogging the nozzle or damaging the seal. Flush the system and clean the rotors if necessary to remove any sitting sediment.
    • Any damage to the riser caused by a mower or footfall will cause mechanical malfunction and disfigured spray patterns. Check each nozzle and turret top of your sprinklers to ensure they are intact.
    • The area around a sprinkler site may become boggy/waterlogged indicating a loose connection between the swing joint/fitting or a break in the pipe network. To repair a leak, use a Compression Joiner/Joiner depending on the pipe used or install PTFE Tape around any male threaded connection to ensure a watertight seal.
    • Water leaking from sprinkler sites even when the system is switched off indicates a problem called low head drainage. A pop-up sprinkler with a Check Valve will prevent water pooling from sprinklers installed at the lowest elevation.
  • My Sprinklers are not Working the Same as when Purchased!

    • Over time a sprinkler may experience a build-up of sediment and debris that blocks the nozzle outputs or damages the riser retraction mechanisms inside the sprinkler. Flush the system and clean out the rotor sprinkler as explained in our Sprinkler Maintenance Guide.
    • Prevent debris build-up by installing an Irrigation Filter at the start of the system.
      • Alternatively, leaking connections or a pipe supplying the sprinkler may have split. The water lost from connections that are not watertight will cause pressure loss and reduce performance.
  • Why are my Underground Pipe Connections Leaking?

An area that is boggy or waterlogged indicates a leaking connection or a pipe that may have split. Most connection points can be tightened by hand or by adding two wraps ofPTFE Tape around male threads or replacing connectors that over time, have snapped.

When fixing your pipe network, depending on the pipe you are using to supply your system will indicate the type of connector you need to repair the damage.

LDPE Supplied Systems: Read our Repairing Damaged LDPE Irrigation Pipe Guide.

MDPE/HDPE Supplied Systems: Read our Repairing a Leak Using a Compression Coupling Guide.

  • How do I Lift the Riser of a Pop-up Sprinkler?

To lift the riser of a rotor sprinkler, most require a Key inserted into the turret top of the sprinkler to lock into the mechanism and allow easy uprooting of the riser by hand. Any maintenance or switching of nozzles is often carried out in this way. Alternatively, ask a friend to switch the system on manually and catch the riser as it lifts during system operation.
