The strong ‘D’ shaped design of the included sprinkler forces water from the outlet, increasing its exit velocity meaning it can accelerate water to a much further radius than more average sprinklers. The perfect solution for watering multiple plants using just one emitter. The robust sprinkler design also incorporates built-in support bearings that protect the internal mechanisms during constant rotation meaning the sprinkler is less likely to wear out promoting a longer-lasting irrigation system.

Fast thread sprinklers feature a 4mm threaded inlet that offers many versatile installation methods for an irrigation solution customised to water any landscape setting no matter how complex. They can be installed directly with either rigid risers or threaded sprinkler micro adaptors. Simply thread the sprinkler head into the threaded outlet of the riser, secure in place with a ground stake and attach to the water source by inserting the riser directly into the wall of the main supply LDPE pipe or install with micro pipe and a 4mm barbed joiner up to 4 metres away from the main supply pipe.

A built to last sprinkler, requiring minimal maintenance and expertly engineered to reduce the need to replace the sprinkler head simply un-thread it from the riser when flushing your irrigation system to prevent any debris build-up. Additional benefits from it’s threaded inlet connection means the sprinkler can anchor itself into position reducing the risk of sprinkler blow off from the riser when water is fed through the system. Top Tip: For an even lower maintenance system, use a filter at the start of a sprinkler system or in-line.

Manufactured using UV stabilised and weather resistant acetal and nylon plastics to ensure long life and protection against deterioration even when subject to harsh climates and sunlight. Cheaper plastics will begin to fade and crack but you can be certain HydroSure micro sprinkler heads are built to last. This high-quality sprinkler is also resistant to most common agricultural chemicals.

Micro sprinklers, compared with drip emitters, disperse water over a larger surface area. This is advantageous on sandier soils as water can disperse laterally rather than vertically downward ensuring enough water remains within the root zone rather than sinking out of the plants reach. Micro sprinklers conserve water by emitting at low precipitation rates and allow for longer run times yet prevent any water runoff to ensure water goes where it is needed. This highly efficient method of watering allows for irrigation either above or below the plant foliage.

Micro sprinklers distribute large amounts of water at low pressures meaning they are more efficient than more pressurised methods - perfect for domestic usage. Micro sprinklers work best at water pressures between 1.5 and 3.0 bar. At this water pressure, this sprinkler produces an output of around 80 L/h with the ability to throw water to a radius of up to 2.9m. The water pressure from a domestic tap usually exceeds the required pressure for a micro sprinkler system to function optimally. Use a pressure regulator/reducer at the start of your system to regulate the pressure to the correct level.
