HydroSure BL-KR1 Blue-Tooth® Irrigation Controller – 1 Station

The HydroSure, in partnership with K-Rain, BL-KR controller is IP68 certified and 100% waterproof and fully submersible. The rugged construction moulded from UV-resistant, high-impact ABS resin ensures this controller is designed for either indoor or outdoor installation within the valve box. The waterproof battery housing for the 9V Alkaline Battery (not included) protects against moisture damaging the unit.

Eliminating the need to purchase expensive remotes, the BL-KR is ideal for remote valve boxes where running power to is expensive or difficult. This method of automated irrigation eliminates the requirement for long wire runs to outdoor controllers or expensive increases in wire gauge size due to voltage drop issues.

Begin by downloading and installing the K-Rain BL app and enable Bluetooth® on your smartphone or tablet. Pair the device with the controller by following the in-app instructions with the option to add other controllers if you expand your system or add more zones. Use the in-app controls to program watering days and re-name programs for a customised irrigation system tailored to your environment.

The built-in locate feature assists when locating the controller. Simply geo-locate the device using a physical address or the GPS installed in your smartphone or tablet.

For ultimate flexibility, the controller allows you to run a station or complete a program manually and the back-up and restore feature means you can save default watering programs without having to re-program the controller. The reliable non-volatile permanent memory is also able to save programming in case of battery failure.

This water-saving built-in feature can add or subtract a percentage of time to the duration of each station - ideal for watering when the seasons are changing or during unseasonable wet or dry conditions. Begin by selecting a program on the app, then enter a water budget, for example during dry weather spells, set the water budget to 120%. This indicates to the controller to add 20% of water consumption to the watering program.
