A HydroSure unique quarter-circle fixed rotor micro sprinkler emitting a 90° fan shape from the front of the sprinkler head. Push-fit fixed rotor sprinklers fit directly with Pre-Assembled Sprinkler Micro-Tubing. Simply push either end of the connector already installed inside the tubing into the base of the micro-sprinkler on the rotor side and install the blunt end of a Sprinkler Spike into the bottom of the sprinkler head. To supply the assembled sprinkler with water, use a Micro Sprinkler Adaptor compatible with the micro-tubing and install the barbed end into the supply pipe using a hole punch. To ensure a watertight and secure connection, make sure the full length of the connector and sprinkler spike is inserted by pushing them firmly into the sprinkler inlets.

Micro sprinklers, compared with drip emitters, are a cost-effective way to disperse a reliable stream of water over a larger surface area and diameter. This is advantageous on sandier soils as water can disperse laterally rather than vertically downward ensuring enough water remains within the root zone rather than sinking out of the plants reach. Micro sprinklers conserve water by emitting at low precipitation rates and allow for longer run times yet prevent any water runoff to ensure water goes where it is needed. This highly efficient method of watering allows for irrigation either above or below the plant foliage and one emitter can irrigate multiple plants.

Micro sprinklers distribute large amounts of water at low pressures meaning they are more efficient than more pressurised methods - perfect for domestic usage. Micro sprinklers work best at water pressures between 1.5 and 3.0 bar. At this water pressure, this sprinkler produces an output of around 70 L/h with the ability to throw water to a radius of up to 1.75m. The water pressure from a domestic tap usually exceeds the required pressure for a micro sprinkler system to function optimally. Use a pressure regulator/reducer at the start of your system to regulate the pressure to the correct level.
