HydroSure - In Partnership with K-Rain

Arc Memory Clutch

The built-in reversing mechanisms work to prevent internal gear damage. This innovative technology returns the rotor to its previous setting automatically if the nozzle turret is forced out of adjustment or tampered with past its pre-set arc. This avoids water spraying in undesirable directions and prevents any permanent damage to your sprinkler.

Time-Proven Built-in Mechanisms

HydroSure, in partnership with K Rain’s 35 years of experience, have created a long-lasting pop-up sprinkler system that ensures continuous reverse and return minimising sticking or wear. Features a 4-inch pop-up riser that keeps the rotating nozzle clean and fully operational over time. The riser has a built-in rugged stainless steel spring built for positive retraction of the riser when irrigation is complete. This ensures protection against surface damage and rubber turret cover seals out dirt for increased product durability. The sprinkler also features easy clean mechanisms that can be extracted and cleaned during system maintenance.

Water-Saving Irrigation

The Patented Intelligent Flow Technology® is operated from a simple valve that allows distance and water flow to be reduced simultaneously and proportionately up to 50% for even water distribution within your full control. Water flow can even be switched off from the turret top for quick and easy nozzle changes. This ideal garden watering solution prevents water wastage and helps to conserve the earth’s precious water resources by using less water and promoting water delivery exactly where it is required. This innovative technology also means fewer watering zones are required within your system as the redesigned nozzles offer better zone performance and ensure uniform watering with no dry spots.

Easy Arc Setting

The SuperPro® features distinct arc set degree markings for an easy setup and the ratcheting riser can be easily positioned so the patented arrow points to the required start position. The sprinkler should be adjusted from the left starting position and features an adjustable stop-return point for adjustable or continuous rotation between 40° and 360°. It arrives with a pre-set 90° arc setting preinstalled with a #2.5 nozzle. To adjust, use alongside the Super Pro Key (not included).

Durable Pop-Up Sprinkler System

Manufactured with a five-year warranty and designed to provide year after year high performance and low maintenance. Engineered from corrosion and impact-resistant heavy-duty ABS plastic for superior structural strength and enhanced weatherability for an underground system that can be trusted to last. The stainless steel spring is built for positive retraction of the riser when irrigation is complete ensuring protection against surface damage.

Pop-Up Irrigation System

Functions at optimal pressures between 2.1 – 4.8 bar making it the ideal solution for larger gardens and at home irrigation, small commercial and professional pop-up irrigation systems.

Rotor Pop-up Sprinklers Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is Water Pooling Around the Sprinkler Site?

    • Underground systems require frequent flushing to prevent dirt from clogging the nozzle or damaging the seal. Flush the system and clean the rotors if necessary to remove any sitting sediment.
    • Any damage to the riser caused by a mower or footfall will cause mechanical malfunction and disfigured spray patterns. Check each nozzle and turret top of your sprinklers to ensure they are intact.
    • The area around a sprinkler site may become boggy/waterlogged indicating a loose connection between the swing joint/fitting or a break in the pipe network. To repair a leak, use a Compression Joiner/Joiner depending on the pipe used or install PTFE Tape around any male threaded connection to ensure a watertight seal.
    • Water leaking from sprinkler sites even when the system is switched off indicates a problem called low head drainage. A pop-up sprinkler with a Check Valve will prevent water pooling from sprinklers installed at the lowest elevation.
  • My Sprinklers are not Working the Same as when Purchased!

    • Over time a sprinkler may experience a build-up of sediment and debris that blocks the nozzle outputs or damages the riser retraction mechanisms inside the sprinkler. Flush the system and clean out the rotor sprinkler as explained in our Sprinkler Maintenance Guide.
    • Prevent debris build-up by installing an Irrigation Filter at the start of the system.
      • Alternatively, leaking connections or a pipe supplying the sprinkler may have split. The water lost from connections that are not watertight will cause pressure loss and reduce performance.
  • Why are my Underground Pipe Connections Leaking?

An area that is boggy or waterlogged indicates a leaking connection or a pipe that may have split. Most connection points can be tightened by hand or by adding two wraps of PTFE Tapearound male threads or replacing connectors that over time, have snapped.

When fixing your pipe network, depending on the pipe you are using to supply your system will indicate the type of connector you need to repair the damage.

MDPE/HDPE Supplied Systems: Read our Repairing a Leak Using a Compression Coupling Guide.

  • My Sprinkler Does Not Cover the Range/Radius Outlined in the Specifications

A variation in flow rate or pressure drop from the water source will also reduce the performance of sprinklers – Check the flow rate from your tap remains high enough during the time of day your system is set to run using our Calculating Flow Rate from the Water Source Guide.

    • On windy days, the spray pattern from your sprinklers may alter even when using nozzles with built-in wind resistance. Alternatively, running a system at a bar pressure that is too high, will create misting – Consider installing a Pressure Reducer regulated as specified in the sprinkler specifications to minimise spray pattern wind drift.
  • How do I Lift the Riser of a Pop-up Sprinkler?

To lift the riser of a rotor sprinkler, most require a Key inserted into the turret top of the sprinkler to lock into the mechanism and allow easy uprooting of the riser by hand. Any maintenance or switching of nozzles is often carried out in this way. Alternatively, ask a friend to switch the system on manually and catch the riser as it lifts during system operation.
